Welcome home Lori! Wow you had a rough week, I also had Dr. Garber and during my first week home I had a really sharp pain where the Lap was done on the left side, I actually thought I was dying, but Dr. Garber took great care of me and told me it would pass, he told me just take an extra Vicodin and I would be fine and sure enough the very next day I was fine. It was just from all the tugging and pulling, and those drains were so uncomfortable. I also had that shoulder pain, don't worry it's normal, it will go away soon, get better! Please rest and sip, sip, sip, and follow Dr's orders. Hope you get better soon, welcome to the losing side! Marilyn

Hi marilyn I couldn't believe how wonderful Dr. Garber was, so compassionate, confident and reassuring I really trusted him and felt safe. I was really scared and he was just so wonderful. We are still not quite sure what caused all the problems but keeping my fingers crossed it seems to be resolved besides this shoulder which I hope really is nothing but the pain is driving me insane it does seem like alot of people have suffered this but its been a weeki s that normal? Well thank for your support and im excited to be on the loseres side. Hugs lori

Hi Lori, Glad you are home! Yes complications are stinky-poo! It's funny that you never know how your body is going to react. You shoulder pain could be muscle pulls from the actual operation. They have you hanging like jesus on the cross on the operating table. Trust me I know those pains. It feels like they ripped your shoulder out of the socket and then crazy glued it back in. Good luck and get your rest!
