Surgery date March 29th and I can hardly wait. ONLY problem I am trying to lose 10 pounds on my own before surgery and pre-testing(march 16th). I am exhausted and hungry with headaches. I have cut out caffeine and all the junk. Is my body going through shock? I need to lose at least 10 pound before March 16th and it is not working. I am taking protein shots and protein shakes. I am also taking B12 liquid. I am aching for this surgery and I am actually worried that the Dr will some how or some way tell me NO because I gained 1-2 pounds in the last two months. I am trying with all my might and with God's help to do this right. Sorry I am going on and on. I Just have a lot up in my head. Kim

Kimberly - I needed to loose weight too, but not as fast as you. The headaches and tiredness are part of cutting the bad stuff and limiting calories. I was sick for 2 weeks and couldn't figure it out, my dr said I was doing it too fast and too much. (I did loose 10 lbs in this period but it really wasn't good). I wish you luck. Collette

Hi Kim, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I just met with the dietician, and she told me to get plenty of protein in first, lots of water, and eat 3 times a day. I have been doing this, and I feel good. I haven't craved sweets or coffee. Just a thought. Good luck. Joyce

Kim, If I may ask, why are you taking the liquid Vit b12? I recently, last month, had a B12 shot. Let me know, please. Lori L
