Hello all
Hi. I am currently 15 days post op. Down 19 pounds. Sometimes I wonder if it will ever all come off. Trying to get used to the food thing but I definitely don't eat enough. I have no hunger. I'm already sick of the foods that I am allowed to eat. I was looking for ppl to share stories with, so I don't feel like I am the only one going through these things.
Hi Kris I am also Chris and live between Rochester and NIagara Falls. don't worry the weight will come off. I am 1 year out and down 139 pounds and 101.5 inches. It really works but you can help it by eating right and exercising. In the begii=nning I too was tired of food. Try changing it up a bit. I never got enough protein in at the beginning so I started on protein drinks. I add it to my coffee and it is like drinking a french vanilla coffee. You definately are NOT alone.....Good luck and feel free to chat any time....
~~hugs and well wishes~~

Hi
YOU ARE NOT ALONE--I PROMISE. I made 2 months post op on Feb. 7th. I feel the same way you do. I wonder myself if it will ever all come off. I just hit about 60 lbs down-still a way to go. My family sees it but i still see myself the same way. Im like you still trying to get use to the food thing. I thought I would be more hungry. I'm sick of the food that im allowed to eat too. I know that im not eating enough. I try but just cant get it in. The one thing to i make sure i get in is the protein drink. I dont want to lose my hair. I make a protein drink in the morning. I use Isopure powder chocolate. I mix it with skimplus milk and its great. I tried the ready made flavored liquid ones they were terrible. Just hang in there, it does get a lil easier. We already begun the journey-that was the biggest step. We can do this.
