My first appointment!~

I got a call from Dr M's office in Ithaca and my first appointment is on January 5th I am so excited that I am on my way for the Lap Band procedure! Since I started this journey I have lost 8 pounds on my own! I want to be ready and do well at this. What should I expect the first visit?

Congrats on your 8 pound loss and on your decision! At my first appointment. My surgeon took a complete medical history. Explained my options answers all OFF MY QUESTIONS and explained all the required pre - op testing he required. Best wishes on your journey ...keep us posted!

Thanks so much you guys! I am so ready for this all to begin! I am praying and hoping that by March I will be having my surgery...how long is about the Norm for waiting?

I had my first appointment 7/20 and got my date on 9/14 - I was scheduled to have surgery on 10/9 --- but i caught a cold and it was rescheduled for 11/6 keep us posted!
