Hey Don, Welcome to the journey!!! By going to the first informational appointment you took the first step. You didn't mention which surgery you were going to have...but I had the DS 8 1/2 months ago...and am having a BLAST!!! WLS was the best gift I could have ever given myself, and my only regret is not doing it much sooner. Don, Just wanted to say hello and congrats on taking the first steps... We are all here for you if you have any questions or would just like to chat. This is a great board with some really awesome people, we are very lucky here!!! I had my surgery on June 6, 2005 and have lost 127 lbs and almost at goal.
