How to stop hair loss

Hi Debra, Thanks for your reply and your input, I really appreciate it. I will continue to take my protein and vitamins and I'm sure the hair loss will slow down. I'm getting it cut tomorrow (even though its not exactly long), so I'm sure it will look better. In any event, I feel great, and this is a small price to pay for feeling that way!!! Hi Ida!! Considering you have seen me, I dont think I should be giving out advice on hair loss, hee-hee. I just wanted to tell you that I hear it does level out and no you wont go bald!! My extreme hair loss has just been b/c of all of trauma my body has gone through in the past almost two years (at this point). It is actually starting to come in alittle now. Just give it some time and you will get it back, promise! Maybe we will bump into each other again soon...I am going over there this friday morning. Hi! I am 1 month post-op and my hair is not falling out, but it is very dry. I went to my hairdresser and she gave me a "cellophane" and then recommended me to go to the beauty supply and get a shampoo and conditioner called NIOXIN. She said alot of her clients had the surgery and they all use this. Its a little pricy, but worth it. Hope this helps.

Hi Lisa, Thanks for your information, I will look into it. I didn't have any hair loss until 3 months post-op. The first few months were fine. I went to the hairdresser on Friday and cut my hair real short on the side and she kept a little more on top and it does give the illusion that my hair on top is fuller now. and it is a very dramatic hair cut - I love it! Thanks for everyone's help. I hope that in a few months, my hair will start coming back. But, even if it doesn't, I wouldn't trade this for anything. I am SO happy with my weight loss and the way I feel, that losing a little hair is well worth it. Ida
