Mad as he-l!!!

I just found out that someone I work with got his WLS covered under our insurance! I was told absolutely not... written exclusion. So he got to have his surgery locally and only paid $200 out of pocket. You can bet I'm going after the insurance company on this one... may even hire a lawyer. I've spend around $20,000 out of pocket already, and have around $40,000 more in bills waiting to be paid! I'm completely ticked ! Traci

Hey Traci, There are lawyers that specialize in this stuff. I'd seriously get a lawyer, it's worth the few hundred dollars in legal fees to get 60K worth of bills paid for. Scott

Traci, Definitely pursue this! I am so sick of Insurance companies.My company is trying to scam me right now.They approved everything,I had lap band done on 8/14/06 and now they are telling me I may not be approved! I will fight this to the death,I will call news stations for help if I have to.I feel like I am apart of a Insurance scam and it seems like you are to.We can not let them get away with this.I am so sorry you are going through this because I know how horrible it is.Good luck!!
