Dr. is on board

I was searching for a new PCP and decided to actively seek out someone who has experience dealing with WLS patients. I had my first appt. with him on Friday and I liked him very much. After about an hour of getting history and talking about me and checking out a few things, he thinks that I am a perfect candidate for WLS. We started on my supervised diet...so I just took my first step on this new journey. I figure in about 3 months I'll start with the Psych Eval. WooHoo!! I'm so excited to finally get started again. Glad to hear your good news Rachelle. Make sure that your cardiologist agrees with the decision to go ahead with things. Your heart needs to be well taken care of (in more ways than one!) during this whole thing. Hugs to you, Amy

Thanks for the concern Amy. Absolutely nothing gets done without my Cardiologists blessing. I figure, by the time I go through the diet and the insurance, it will be about a year since my heart attack. Rachelle
