Dr Pomp

Hi Everyone, I hope you can help. I was referred to Dr Pomp for VSG because he takes my insurance but there is no indication that he does VSG. Has anyone had VSG from Dr. Pomp? What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance. Rachel

While he is not my surgeon, I'm pretty sure Dr. Pomp does do the VSG. He is partners with Dr. Gagner who is probably one of the most well known DS surgeons in Manhattan, Dr. Gagner and Pomp both perform the DS, VSG. Scott

About a year ago I went to see Dr. Pomp for WLS. He was wonderful and explained everything to me. However, I was not ready yet. WLS seemed to drastic for me at that time. Hense I had gained another 20 pounds and felt even worse. I did have the lap band surgery April 17 with Holover in Long Island. Thank God I did..... I just wanted to say that Dr Pomp had come up several times as being a nifty surgeon....I support your decision to use him.....best of luck....Susan
