I am Karen I.'s sister.

Hi all! Just got off the phone with my Sister and I figured I would post an update on her condition. This morning, as expected, she is in more pain than yesterday. They got her up to walk every two hours throughout the night. She can't wait to get the foley catheter removed because she is finding it very uncomfortable, especially when she is up walking. She is also less than thrilled with the hospital staff. She said that they are "very unorganized". All in all, she is doing well! I am very glad that the surgery is over (as is she) and I can't wait for her to get out of the hospital. I will update you all when I get any more information. Lisa, Please let Karen know she is in my thought and prayers for a speedy recovery. It will take some time but she will do awesome. Once you get home you really do feel much better also... Thanks again Debra P
