Panic Sets in!
Hi everyone,
It's Sunday afternoon...my surgery is Tuesday and I AM A WRECK! Yes, I'm excited but I'm also a mess nerves-wise. It started yesterday and I can not shake it. I'm sure this is normal but I am "glued to the potty" (sorry if it's TMI) and I have so many last minute things to get done. Tomorrow is clear liquids all day and already I have the above-mentioned side effect to the nerves! I'll lose 10 pounds between today and tomorrow!
Ok I just needed to vent and also say this: the support from all of you has kept me sane and grounded. I feel blessed to have found this site and it's become a huge part of my life.
Hugs to all,
-Karen

Hi Karen,
It is totally normal to be nervous. I was a total wreck also. All I can say is you are about to do the best thing for yourself. You will be healthier and happier post surgery. Try not to surround yourself with uneducated people who don't want you to have the surgery (this was my big mistake.)
Talk to you on the losing side!
