Laura, That is always a good thing.. Are you doing those protein shakes at all? I know just how important it is to get that protein in I found they gave me so much gas but I also knew how important it was to get that all in. F/F Refried Beans also helped me a lot to get the protein in per day! Take care and thanks for posting hun Debra P

My Dr doesn't push protein shakes at all and wants the patients to get the proteins from the foods they eat. I would definitely like to get some more protein in without it making me sick. What are F/F Refried Beans and how do you prepare them? Are they good? Laura

Laura, Yeah that is what I have noticed, some Dr's do and some don't. I found the f/f refried beans at the supermarket, in a can, I think they were Old El Paso brand and tasted so good. I put some in a dish, melted some cheddar cheese over it and microwaved it...yummmmm makes me want to go make some....damn I am at work.. It really was some good protein and helped me get it in, also string cheese has been so good. Now that I am out past the year I make sure I have some fresh nuts every day to help with the protein and good fats. Also it helps to keep me from getting constipated. Take care Debra P
