Support Group Meetings?

Is there a support group meeting you all attend in the NYC area? And is it for all types of wls? Or are the support groups just those attached to the facility where you had your surgery? Thanks Linda

Hey linda, Lennox Hill has one, open to anyone, I believe there is one at NYU's Hosptial, and doctor G has one if i'm not mistaken. Its funny because i was going to ask you about Dr. G's group, I know he does a lot of DS's and was wondering if his DS support group was open to everyone? Scott

Hey Scott, you twoterviller you!!! Dr G has a DS support group on the third Wed of each month....don't know if it is open to everyone. I have a problem getting to Manhattan....looking for something in the outter boros. Continued Success Linda

There is a monthly meeting at Mount Sinai on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:15. It's open to everyone and people from CT come sometimes. We meet in the Annenberg building on the fifth floor conference room.

There is a meeting in Yonkers at St. John's Riverside Hosp. that meets the third Thursday of the month. Would you be interested in that one? Joanne
