Anyone there?

Hey can anyone assist me in locating the NY Lapband forum? I have not connected in over a year. After I was denied I fell into a depression. Things have gotten better & would like to connect to posters with lapband experience. Thanks so much, Kathleen

Thankyou so much Brenda...the site has changed since I was here over a year ago. I have been at this for over 2 years & have had ups and downs. As so many of us experience. When I began this journey a very nice young lady introduced herself & mentioned that we had the same surgen. I have been back and forth with her for about a year & a half. She also was denied...we had the same insurance. I fell into a depresion and stopped posting & gained 30 pounds. A higher power told me to e-mail her...I was wondering how she was doing since she had the oportunity to switch insurance companies & had her lapband placed about 6 months ago. She is doing fantastic & told me I should have my paperwork resubmitted. Well I called the office and they pulled my chart from the archives...LOL I was told my insurance does cover the lapband now. I wonder if I had not called would they have called me since they knew it was an option for me now? If it wasn't for her I know I wouldn't have a surgery date of september 18th This is why I have learned that no mater the ups & downs stay posting for support & direction!
