Hi OH Friends, Sorry I've been so out of touch lately. Just wrapped up in my busy life, trying to do everything it takes to be successful with my new anatomy. Things are going well for me. I've lost 78 pounds total (48 since surgery May 2nd) and look and feel like a brand new person. I seem to have hit a plateau however and I remember somebody posting a plateau buster regime but wasn't on the ball enough to save it when I saw it. Does anyone remember what that was? I tried to update my avatar picture unsuccessfully and my old pic was deleted so for now I am faceless! This coming weekend I will try again plus I'll update my profile pics. I hope everyone is doing well and taking every moment to change what needs to be changed and enjoy the changes that we have worked so hard for. Hugs, Amy

Amy: Hiya angelette! I just got home from NH, Vacation! I think this is what you're looking for? Do this for 10 days to break plateau 1) Drink 2 quarts of water a day 2) You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamin & mineral supplements each day 3) you may consume up to 3 oz. of the following high-protein foods, 5 times a day: ? beef ? pork ? chicken ? turkey ? lamb ? fish ? eggs ? low-fat cheese ? cottage cheese ? plain yogurt or artificially sweetened ? peanut butter ? beans/legumes You may also have: ? sugar free Popsicles ? tea or coffee ? sugar free sodas ? sugar free Jell-O ? broths and bullions ? Crystal Lite drinks 4) IF IT IS NOT ON THE LIST YOU CANNOT HAVE IT FOR 10 DAYS 5) Keep a food diary and get up to 30 minutes of exercise daily. Don't forget the water and exercise part of this!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I wonder if you are not getting in enough protein? May be time to check out the shakes again? Drinking w/ a straw in a closed shaker to avoid the smell? Jamie

Hi Amy!!! Glad to hear from you again. You are doing great! Plateaus are my life these days so I go back to the proteins and shakes and lots of water inbetween. My downfall lately has been those darn sugar free klondike bars I really have to stick with the sugarfree popsicles. Anyway, keep up the good work. It's only been 4-5 months so far for you... Take care LindaM

Hi guys, Thanks for your feedback. I have upped my protein and water (not to the full extent of the plateau buster, but significantly) and had a 2 pound weight loss almost immediately. I go see my surgeon and nutritionist today for a '3' month follow up ( almost 4 months actually!) so I can touch base with them about my progess too. Hugs to you all, Amy
