6 months post op
Hey everyone,
As of today, I'm 6 Months post op.
Official Weight: (drum roll please)
Starting Weight 492
Day of Surgery: 472
Todays Weight: 307
Loss for Month 6: 14
Total loss for 6 months since surgery: 165
Total Loss since Jan of 06: 185
Yes It's offical, I've lost a man...where did he go? I still have no idea..lol.
My goal for month 7: EXERCISE. Yes thats right, my goal is to actually get my less fat butt to the gym and work it out at least 3 times a week. I have been working out at least 1 time a week sometimes 2 times, but i know i really need to go 3 or 4 times a week at this point.
Hows my eating at this point, it's pretty good.
I'm drinking 1-2 protein drinks a day
I eat about 1500-1800 calories on average a day (high protein, high fat, lower carb, i'd lie if i said i was eating low carb, because even as we speak the homemade cookie crumbs are falling out of my mouth..lol...but i do eat lower carb)
It was funny today i went out with a friend for lunch. She ordered a chicken caeser salad and took off all the crutons, only at 2 tsp of dressing; I sat there and ate the best cobb salad i've ever had. It had 1/2 an avacado in it, lots of real strips of bacon, chunks of regular bleu cheese, grilled chicken and eggs of course i smothered it in about 1/2 a cup of extra chunky bleu cheese dressing. My friend, kept telling me how much fat was in the food i was eating, and all i could think was "don't you know this is a healthy meal for a DSer".

WOW that is just awesome hun, congrats!!!
I hate the fact that men lose faster then us women.
Oh well just another cruel thing in life
(just kidding)
I am glad to hear things are going good hun and I also have to work on the exercise part though I am going to Yoga 2 times a week now so I guess that is a good start for me.
