HIP NY INSURANCE

Hi, im sort of new here. I'm from Brooklyn NY. I wanted to know if anyone out there has the same insurance as I do and had a hard time gettin approved by this insurer. If any one can offer me any advice it will be well appreciated. My BMI is 46.2 Thanks Noelle

I have HIP Prime and had no problem w/ getting approval, what I did was call them first and see what their requirments were, then I handed all this information over to the individuals who worked for my surgeon (I just wanted to make their jobs easier), from the time the surgeons office sent over to paperwork it only took 1 week for approval, but I called everyday (just because I was so anxious). Hi, I am also new here, but, my closest friend worked for Hip, The Midland parkway location, and she worked with the bariatric surgeon. Most of the people who applied were approved. You'll be fine!!! Congratulations, and good luck.
