Freeedom!

Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for the guys who send me cards, I truly do apprectiate it! The surgeon even looked at them! I am back minus two old connections, roux limb and a appendix(he said it looked 'funny'). He said I think everyone would blow their brains out if I had to have another surgery let alone for such a silly reason, (i.e the appendix.) Anyway, I am free and never going back there again. It is alittle sad b/c I made friends w/a lot of the nurses, PCAs etc over all of my problems and they are really good to me and my husband. Maybe one day I will visit when it is all a far away memory! I still have the G tube in me which is going to come out in a couple of weeks and the staples will come about monday. Yay. One step to becoming normal again! I have pains still but I hate taking the pain meds b/c all they do is make me groggy and nauseous. I rather have pains than be groggy and nauseous! When I came out of surgery I was going "where is larry, where is larry?!?!" I just wanted to know what happened that is all. He was like I am right here!!! Too funny! Anyway, thanks again for everyones support a well wishes they truly do mean a lot to me! Take care and I will post again soon! Love ya all, Tavia

Hi Tavia, Yeahhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you're back with us! We missed you. So glad that you are feeling as well as can be right now. So when will you know for sure if it worked as planned? After the G-tube comes out? Sure keeping our prayers with ya. Did you get your angels? I bet your little guy is glad to have you with him again. Make sure you get your rest and heal up well. So glad to hear you're home and on the other side of surgery. Heal well, pace yourself. Have you tried plain tylenol to manage your pain? That worked for me (I don't like narcotics either!) Hugs to you, Amy
