A variety of doctors that I have recommend this fish oil specifically:
Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega
It contains 1280 mg Omega-3
Is this really working? In order to jump start some wl, I am doing my own Induction faze, with a moderate liquid diet. Lot's of protein supplements, vits. for sure, primarily, broths, smoothies, H2O indeed.
Crackers here and there if needed? but not really? and boiled eggs. Once I go back on foods, I then want to do a low carb moderation. In just an effort to get the ball rolling, I came out the gate this time, drastic, with a liquid diet, like right before, and after surgery. I've never done this before? I am really Starting over.
After eating the boiled eggs, I felt full? could this really be working? is my stomach/pouch shrinking at all? or is this all in my head? Here's the kicker? I feel just fine. I thought I would feel so hungry? but I don't ? I am shocked. My 1st day was odd. Today is day 5. Exercise, I learned that lesson long ago, they go hand in hand? So who's an expert out here? Who has done this before? I know I am not the only one? Tell me your thoughts, and please be nice about it. I had to start somewhere, so I finally did.
How long will this last? Well as long as I can stand it? my goal is to lose 55lbs. My goal wt is 199. Originally I came from the Heavy wts. bench. So 10 yrs. later, 199 is good for me. Docs originally goal, from HW was 189? I want to be under 200, and maintain. Hard work and effort. Regain in 10 yrs. is 33lbs. My goal is to lose that & then some. I never made it to my own personal goal after wls, or the docs. Therefore the time is now. Do you think this is doable? Well either way, I am trying.
Thanks,
Jbug.
My general Dr recently suggested I start taking fish oil for cholesterol. She highly recommended the Carlson fish oil brand. I found them on amazon. I haven't had any kind of reaction to them, so far so good then! The pills are very large so if you have difficulty swallowing you may want to consider the liquid form. I've read it isn't very pleasant tasting but it gets the job done! Best of luck to you!
PS. That link looks super sketchy. I wouldn't recommend people to click on it.

Are you actually hungry? Or do you just want to eat? Switching the majority of your diet to dense proteins should help because they'll keep you feeling full for longer than carbs will. Carbs also tend to make us crave more carbs.
Are you seeing a therapist?

Hello mate,
Greetings to all! I hope someone will guide me in this matter. I would like to lose my weight up to 4 KG's per month. And only 1 KG per week. But I have a big problem. I can't stop my appetite anyhow. Though I am working full time and 6 days per week in order to lose my heavy weight. Now I weigh 105 KG's and my goal is to reach 80 KG's at best. I love to eat all the time. This is the most critical problem for me. Has anyone faced this problem yet? If yes, then what did you do to lose weight ? Though I found this website about appetite suppressants diet pills https://www.healthzmag.com/top-5-appetite-suppressment-diet- pills-2015 How helpful is this ?Did anyone try them ?
Please let me know. If you have other suggestion too. Thanks for your time!
Not only you. I have seen many guys are trying hard to lose weight but don't want to stop eating somehow. It's logical for the real food lovers. However, I think a well planned dieting can help you in this case to recover your hunger. Good luck!
One of our topics at a recent support group was about vitamins. Some recent studies have shown we all need them post WLS, even those who had VSG and lap band.
What do your labs show? I guess if they are good you could skip them, but I would not risk it. I say take the multivitamin at least.

Thanks, I'll look at that. I got some at the drugstore that said odorless fish oil 1200 mg and taking that for now. They don't taste or smell so that's good. I'm not sure if they're helping or if it's just time for the withdrawal to be tapering but I do feel a bit better. I just can't wait to get all these brain meds out of my system and see how I really feel.
