I have been pretty low carb since surgery almost 3 months ago and no GI issues out of the normal.

Hello, I have already had my surgery and already 6 years out. I had put on some weight and not lost all my weight. I decided a little over a week ago to start doing a low carb way of eating. I have not had any issues so far. I actually like it.
Wow, am I an idiot. I've been using MFP for YEARS and never knew I could reconfigure the meals/snacks. This is literally life altering!! LOL. I've always hated that my "snacks" got lumped together as I eat 5-6 times daily, but only had the default 4 categories. My life is better already ;-)
Thanks! I'll try it for sure!

I find optimum nutrition's double rich chocolate to be a darker chocolate than most. And you could add cocoa powder to make it darker.

I am going in for my initial resting metabolic rate testing and nutritional consult tomorrow. I know from my research and my initial consultation visit that this program focuses on a low carb diet after surgery and I assume also in the pre-surgery stage.
I've done low carb many times, including most of June and every time, I experience digestive issues with loose stools. This doesn't resolve until I go back to eating grains.
Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, how did you deal with it, especially after surgery (bypass, in my situation)?
I'm concerned that my new diet after surgery will leave me life-long digestive issues.

Yes I always took grazing to be a bite here and a bite there between actual meals. I was a bad grazer pre wls and its still a habit I am having to rein in. Everyday it gets easier though! Well mostly lol
Two hours is a little too frequent. I eat every 3. Grazing is sort of picking at food all day, at random. Eating every 3 hours, by the clock, is not the same as grazing. It's just eating by a particular plan.

I have already faced the iron deficiency last year that cause so much hair loss & I was very disappointed also feeling so weak. I don't know about this product but if your doctors recommend you this so maybe I would be good for you.
