Thanks so much for your reply, and my apology for my late reply. I do have a band multi vitamin that I'm taking. Due to a lack of insurance, I wasn't getting my labs or fills done. I have a new doctor that gave me two fills, and when I asked about doing blood testing, he told me my regular Dr. could do that. Obviously, this guy was only interested in the billing, and not my health, so I ditched him after two fills. Thanks again for your reply and I'll give this to my regular Dr. to have those checked.
I exercise 1-3 hours a day, and I've never increased my intake to compensate. The most I do is change the timing of my meals.

1 month out from sleeve....Do I need to adjust protein/calories/carb intake for exercise?
I dont know if this will help you at all, but I find that when I want something "creamy" I semi-freeze my smoothies/ shakes and it seems to help me satisfy the craving. You may try "world according to eggface" blog. She has awesome recipes on there!
That is what I am afraid of. I don't want to get used to it now then want it after surgery and it to cause dumping. also with an oil based product I don't know if its better to go with fat free or low sugar. My doc says he'd rather us look at sugar content instead of fat content, but i'd rather look at both. i guess I should just forget it and move on. If a food is this much trouble its not worth eating.
I buy ff cool whip. When I feel like I need it I measure it out and only put a teaspoon or 2 on my jello. I do not do it every time I eat jello. Last night I had a small amount of cool whip, it was my first in 4 months or better. Everyone is different with their choices that they make. Be forewarned though, I did have stomach issues the first time I used cool whip after surgery. Im not sure if it was the lactose, or if it was the sugar (hence I use FF now).
I'm about to have surgery and I'll find out more tomorrow. This is my issue too as I can't find anything that gives enough info on what to eat. It seems to be a very limited diet, boring. How do you count protein? My Dr is awesome one on one, face to face and I love that. But, like any Dr it's a fast visit. I know meat & eggs are protein and I've only bought one protein powdered shake and it's nasty. It is not a meal replacement, at least not yet. If Adkins is a good plan I'd run buy a book. I'll ask my Dr about that tomorrow. I love asparagus and just read that it makes your liquid waste stink for most people. Oh, so that's what it is? I couldn't figure it out. I'm a very picky eater and these foods pretty much are gross to me. But if I only have to get a small amount in each time. I can make it
Ok, I'm actually one of those that LOVES Jello. Sugar free is a bit over sweet, but it helps with my craving for fruit (not allowed on our diet). But I am craving something creamy. And I have not gotten an answer yet. Are you guys putting a spoonful of cool whip on your jello every now and then? I just lost 12 pounds, I'd love a treat. :)
I see him this afternoon. I'm making a list of questions for him. I never received anything that tells me what I'm supposed to be doing. I feel like I'm barely treading water now.
I do! You should check with your surgeon for her recommendations, though.
