Is it possible to buy non-prescription drugs there only? Never've done it online before.
I am 12 years post op and a few years ago I developed IBS. After a battery of tests and three gastroenterologists later, they found it to be 'mechanical' due to RNY.
that said, of course I became lactose intolerant post surgery but need to figure out what I can and can't eat.
Does anyone have experience with this in terms of 'food and stomach sensitivities'. Meaning, what can you or can't you tolerate?
In addition to eliminating dairy, what about soy?
What about fruit that has skin?
nuts?'
artficial sweetener?
Coffee?
I'm trying to formulate a diet for myself where I do not have chronic diarrhea - with a list of foods I cannot eat.
I have yet to find a nutritionist who specialist in post-gastric bypass patients and my new gastro (the fourth now) doesn't seem to be accurate either.
Any concrete assistance here would be greatly appreciated. I'm desperate.
Thank you.
Beth

Thank you a lot for the great thread here! I think that the most important part of any diet is taking all the necessary supplements and vitamins. I recommend that you have a look at the service called Canadian Pharmacy for some more info about it. Good luck, hope I was helpful here ;)

If you are on diet and suddenly you quit your diet program then you will gain weight again. No need to worry and depress about it. Yes go for exercise and some keto pure diet for better vitamins.

Hello. I am kind of in the same boat. I tolerate junk more then proper food. Today I'm going to get my shakes again. Using water not juice or dairy. I bottom out I. Iron and all b vitamins and my d3. I daily take 1000's of MG of each to stay functioning. I've had to change gp because my dr retired. Ugh. This one sucks. I have chronic pain and depression. I can manage the depression with vitamins but the pain is unreal daily. I am a caregiver to my mom and I can't leave the house with out a sitter. Exercise is minimal and I'm lost as to what to do. The foamies happen daily no matter what I eat really. Coffee is my staple and I need to lose 30 lbs. I am now medically retired and trapped in my world.
Today I start trying to return to my healthy self. It's gotta help some how. Going for protien and minerals. Hope I can kickstart a loss without food. Then I will reintroduce food like the beginning of the journey. Maybe that will help you too. I will let you know how it goes.
I had a much smaller regain and nipped in the bud ASAP. I regained 15 pounds after my mom passes. I started eating low carb, high protein, moderate fats with calorie restriction and it's falling off. Everyone is different, this is what works for me. It also depends what type of surgery you had, I need more protein then a VGS or a RNY. Knowing what you need and following through is hard but it pays off in pounds lost.
