Rogaine?

Anyone use Rogaine for post op hair loss? I have lost weight in the past (100 lbs) on a high protein/low carb diet and lost a significant amount of hair that never came back completely. Now, 10 years later, I'm approaching surgery at the end of next month and worry about losing the little hair I've got. Thanks for any responses! JP
