head hunger or actual hunger?
I had surgery 3.5 months ago and have went from 302 to 244. I do 6 hours of cardio. and weight train 2 hours per week. I am currently taking in 1000-1100 calories per day with at least 60+ grams of protein. There are days when I feel like my caloric intake is not enough and I bump it up to 1200 calories. Is 1200 calories too many considering my exercise output?

I think if your out put is high you calories can be adjusted - just don't adjust fats up and keep in mind protein and a few carbs for fuel. I would ask my Doc or nutritionist about this to make sure or the personal trainer at your gym...
