PROTEIN INTAKE 2WEEKS POSTOP
I AM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING ALL MY PROTEIN IN. I HAVE DRANK SO MANY ATKINS DRINKS(CAN'T HAVE DAIRY-ALLERGY) THAT THE THOUGHT OF THEM MAKE ME WANT TO VOMIT. ANY OTHER IDEAS? I HAVE STARTED ON PEA SOUP AND SUCH TO GIVE ME A VARIETY FROM CHICKEN SOUP. IT ISN'T BOTHERING MY STOMACH AT ALL BUT I'M JUST NOT SURE IF IT IS EVEN OKAY TO HAVE IT PLEASE ADVISE.
You do know that it takes a couple months in some cases to get all of the protien in that you need. Is your dairy allergy to lactose or milk in general. I have a lactose intolerance and by fat free milk lactose free. I mix it up with my protien mix called pro complex I still am only able to ingest about a scoop of the protien powder with a banana blended very we'll. This gives me about 30 grams protien for my daily total.
Another idea is maybe frozen yougart that is non dairy. You will have to shop around some to find a brand with enough protien but maybe it will break up the having to drink your atkins.
