I just wanted to share something with all of you

this morning that maybe have not had your surgery yet. Last year I went through six months of pre surgery classes. Through all that time I wondered if it would work for me? How am I going to say no to the donuts at work? How am I going to say no to the birthday cakes? I have an addiction to sugar and could never say no before. I was so afraid that it was not going to work for me and I would fail again. Granted I am I slow loser but it works! I have lost 68 pounds in 7 months and I am doing it. I got through Christmas... Birthdays and Mondays through Sundays. Don't get me wrong there are days that it is more of a challenge but it works and you can do it! I am 60 years old and I don't ever remember weighing what I weigh now.... feels good. It is still hard to believe but I am a believer now. If I can do it .... definitely you can too!
Congratulations to you!! I just had my surgery February 20, 2017 and need to hear success stories like yours. Keep it up and I am looking forward to my weight loss as well.'

Thank you so much for posting your success. I am in the exact boat. I am still pre-op, I get my surgery date this Friday, but always in the back of my mind is: "is this really going to work?","am I just suppose to be fat?", "Will I ever walk without pain?" and "is it worth it?"
