how many carbs are you eating in a day?
I'm just coming up on 3 weeks out, so maybe not the best person to respond. My focus is on getting in my protein and fluids. Looking at MFP, I'm ~50g carbs a day. This will go up a bit when I start adding back in some veggies, I imagine, even though they will be non-starchy.
I'll be carefully watching my blood sugar response. I don't think we need too many carbs while losing, but it's not unhealthy to have some veggies when there's room for them.
Curious about those who are further out. I've seen responses from earlier threads from some pretty successful folks *****ally eat mostly meat.

I have no clue what veggies to eat. What few I've had have been squash. I have quinoa nearly every day. Otherwise I'm straight protein. Most of my carbs come from my SF white mocha which is made with stevia and another natural sweetener. My other high source of carbs are my protein energy bars (not daily) and Greek yogurt.
I'm a 2.5 year post-op VSG patient -- have lost 100 pounds and have weighed 135 pounds for over a year now. Maintaining well and easily.
My daily calories are typically 1500-1800. My daily carbs are typically 150 - 180. And although you didn't ask, my daily protein grams are typically 85-105.
This year I'm aiming for 7 veggies/fruits a day. Honestly, I am probably averaging only 5 (since January 1), but am focused on raising it to a consistent 7/day.
Hope that helps.
P.S. The above is what I do to maintain. When I was losing, my calories averaged 1200, protein 95-100, carbs 125 (or thereabouts). I am not particularly "carb-sensitive" so never went low-carb or keto to lose weight. Of course, I didn't lose like a house afire either, but that was OK with me. All the time spent losing was just time spent practicing for maintenance. Or that's how I saw it.

This is very similar to the what has worked for me, calorie, protein, carb wise. When losing, my goal is less than 100 carbs/day, but usually averaging about 60g. I usually eat grapefruits, apples, berries for my carbs. I also do intermittent fasting every day 12-16 hrs. When I was maintaining for years, it was about 1600-1800 cal/day, carbs less than 150. Right now, I'm in the losing phase again since I had a revision from lap band to sleeve (gained a bit back in the interim) and since Sept. I've had no major stalls, slow and steady for me. Almost to goal.

During high weight loss and 2-6months out I was eating about 400-700 calories and would only have 15-30g all day. It's very important to me that I keep sugars as low as possible. I'm a year out now and I do have sugar in my coffee in the mornings because "life" I like it and it works in my plan. So my sugars are now in the 50-60g range and I'm at 1000-1200k calories. I am maintaining about 200lbs at 5 9". It's been a pretty happy weight for me as it's allowed me the opportunity to do far more things. However I'm about to go back to a more calorie and sugar restrictive plan here soon because I'd like to lose another 10-20lbs.
Some of us are more prone to sugar crazyness so you need to judge for yourself how much is enough. No one wants to feel like they have no food choices but if you can get away from processed food options the sugar isn't too much of an issue. Stick with meats and cheese, nuts and eggs, veggies if you want them, and if you really want something sweet berries are a good choice. When your away from sugar and artificial sweeteners for awhile, berries actually are sweet and a nice treat without blowing your carb ratios.
