Vegan Protein?
Hi! Any vegans here? What kind of protein do you eat after surgery that keeps you full? And that you digest well? I'd love to find solutions that aren't processed. I'm also struggling with finding vegan protein shakes. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!
I use Orgain Organic protein. It is plant based and I believe vegan friendly. I have food allergies, along with a pesticide allergy and this one doesn't bother me at all.
I haven't found any vegan protein powders that didn't tast awful. I ate a lot of split pea soup post-surgery!
Now I eat a lot of beans (legumes), nut butters, and nutritional yeast. And some tofu.

Good Morning! I tried the Plant Fusion - yuk, yuk, yuk!!! So then the Orgain Vegan shake tasted much better :) And I think nutritional yeast might save me!

If you find one you like, please let me know because everything I've tried has been NASTY. Part of the problem is that vegan ones seem to be sweetened with stevia, which I just cannot stand the taste of.

Hi I'm a vegan. I use both unflavored soy (jarrow) and pea protein (unjury). The soy protein works well mixed with soy milk, cacao powder and stevia. I found the pea protein was better mixed with savory items like veggie broth. I just ordered another mixed unflavored protein powder but don't know how it will be. I also stared a group for veg*s and would love folks to join. http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/Vegans_Vegetarians/tab,0/page,1/
