How do you all manage to drink so much water?
Hi all!
I am waiting to have my surgery, hopefully in May :D
I'm just wondering if anyone has some tips and tricks they'd be able to share on drinking water? I keep a 32 ounce bottle beside me at work all day. Usually, I manage to drink 1.5 to 2 of the bottles of water and I feel like I am ALWAYS sipping on it. When I think that some of you drink 100-150 ounces a day....I am willing to do whatever I have to to keep myself healthy pre and post op, but any tips or tricks would be VERY appreciated :)
I'd like to know as well because I can barely get in 32 oz some days. I'm only 2 months post op though so I don't know if that makes a difference. Plus my job makes it a little difficult to me to get to a drink at times. I could go half the day and realize I haven't drank any water. I can't take but more than 2-3 sips at a time though so I try to grab that in between patients.
I started off by setting an alarm every 15 minutes to remind me to drink. Now it's just habit.

The best way to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day is to buy yourself a large, reusable stainless steel water bottle and keep it with you all day. Often we confuse hunger for thirst, so make sure you take sip on your water several times every hour. :)
I get the largest sizes that I can of regular iced tea at Sonic or McDonald's sometimes I buy to Route 44 Iced Teas and put one in my fridge I can drin****d tea all day long but for some reason it's really hard to drink a lot of water. I don't make iced tea at home it doesn't seem like you can get it to taste as good as it does at a restaurant.
