You haven't responded to anyone's probing questions, so I'll assume you're embarrassed.  Don't be.  We are all here because we have serious issues with food.

Surgery doesn't fix it.  If you've ever watching "My 600 lb Life," you'll see that it's easy to eat around the surgery and not lose weight.  If you're cheating on your pre op diet, it's not a great indicator that you'll be compliant on your post op diet.

Have you considered therapy of some sort to address your eating disorder?  I don't know all the details of your life, but my gut feeling is that you may not be ready.  Just my .02¢

Wasn't sure how to respond butt okay I am currently in group therapy that I attend weekly. I think it really helps a lot since the first time I got my date pushed back. Before going on the liquid diet I was doing great but I've just been having major cravings while on it! But after posting, I decided to woman up and get back on track! I really do appreciate the replies because I really needed them!! And if my date does gets pushed back again, I'm just going to suck it up and try to control my cravings.

Cravings suck big time before and at times after surgery.  You can do this.

Not sure if you are able, but see if you can do a one on one therapy meeting.

Your body is trying to rebel going on liquid I would bet the craving are a good part of head hunger.  Our minds can play dirty tricks on us.

I forgot who posted it, but there was a member here who posted 'HUNGER IS NOT AN EMERGENCY'.  I have said that over and over at times when stress was starting to get the best of me.  It helps me to stay on track.  In a couple of weeks I will be 1 year out from my revision.  I have gone from 280 to 196 with 46lbs more to lose.  I have had a few bumps in the road (my own doing), but if you stick to the plan and work the tool you will succeed.

All of this responses are wonderful and from the heart and personal life experiences before and after WLS.

I am in the early stages of nutrition classes and education, One thing that keeps coming to the forefront of every class or meeting is this: Knowledge without implementation is still failure. Its accepting where you are and OWNING it and fighting for Who you want to be.

Do you have a support system?  A significant other, Mom, Sister, Church Friend? Someone who will be completely raw and honest with you to help you learn and deal with whatever your true issues are, and Please know, I am not judging you, I have issues, we all do, or lets be honest NO ONE would be over weight and Prescription Medication would not be needed.  (Heal)th is Healing see where this goes?

We must LOVE our self enough to stand in that Mirror,  Literal or figuratively and LOVE who we are.....I personally am struggling with this right now.  But I am not willing to have surgery and fail.....set backs yes, struggles yes, but Failure NO.  Mindsets have to be broken, you may have to walk away from Friends and maybe even a few family members......But we Must be willing to fight for Ourselves, No one can win this for us.

Please add my for a friend if you like I would love to offer support.

My doctor did not require me to lose weight before the surgery. I think if you can do it on your own, then why would you need the surgery? Seeing people struggle with a pre-op weight loss is difficult, but makes sense because it's to shrink your liver so they can do a laparoscopic procedure. Mine was an open surgery so my doctor did not need to dance around my liver to get to my stomach. The recovery was much more difficult as my incision was 8 inches long, through all of my abdomen muscles. Even a cough was excruciatingly painful without good meds. When you cough, your abdomen tightens up... ouch. Everything you do, every movement uses and affects your core muscles.
Plus there are other recovery issues to deal with when you have an open procedure, such as a hernia from improper healing.
Laparoscopic incisions are much smaller, but the surgeon is working from the inside, and your liver needs to be less fatty and easier to maneuver around.
However, take heed; once the surgery has been done, as one poster said, not following instructions CAN be fatal.

Don't be fooled, buy these post,  there isn't anybody out here that didn't crave a steak or watch a food commercial and have serious cravings the liquid diet is tough I cheated on it but not enough to cause an issue where I couldn't get the surgery you've got only 5 days left now so buckle down forget about yesterday you've got a tough doctor you can do it only 5 more days and then you can get on the books for the surgery don't complicate your mind worrying about one-on-one counseling or other counseling right now forget that just stay focused on this next 5 days and get on the books you will be successful, with the surgery you need the surgery not more counseling right at this particular moment
