Is it common to still have nausea 5 weeks since the surgery?  I am taking the anti nausea medication that helps for a time but it comes back.

How much fluid are you getting in every day?

Are you taking a PPI such as Prilosec or Nexium?

Hi Gwen,

I am taking prilosec. My anti nausea medication works for 2 hours.  I dialed back to just liquids . Myfluid intake isn't up to what it should be but working on it.

Dehydration can cause nausea, so you've got to make sure you're getting at least 64 ounces. More is better.

One of the oldest and perhaps the best remedy for nausea is ginger. Try a warm cup of ginger tea
