Coffee

I was cleared for it at 1 month and have had several cups a day for 9 years without issue... some Dr's want you to avoid during healing for the reasons stated above dehydration, acidity, etc. but most know it's a part of our lives and allow it in moderation (ask yours if he is a masochist or not LOL) Also if you had health conditions pre-op that coffee might aggravate they might not allow... so def. a Q for your medical team.

Hope you get the OK. I actually think it helps me not snack... and brown water is water ;)

Thank you!!  I feel a better now. I was so worried. Thank you everyone for sharing your comments. Isn't this a great way to communicate? This website was the only support system I had after my surgery. My support meetings were too far away. So thank you again, all!

It has to do with the person, if u can tolerate it or not!  I can't eat a lot of things, yet tolerate coffee just fine...... You have to find things that work well for you.... You will learn what makes you feel sick and sometimes you pay for it cause you just want to try it to see if u can now tolerate it.........  It also has to do with the medical issues people have, such as ulcers and stuff.  Starbucks I love the no fat chocolate mint frapacinno.......  Since I can't eat ice cream!
