Harmony illinois do they approve protein

I have harmony illinois and was told by someone there they cover protein as long as my doctor or surgeon git it approved. Has anyone that has this insurance got there's approved if so how did that work and is there anything I need to tell my Doctors office so that it gets approved?? They seem to think it won't be approved yet I talk to someone from harmony that said it would be.
