Post surgery

ok, so I just had surgery and I am now doing the full liquids.... My question is by drinking my 11oz protein drink within an hour is that too fast?  Am I just pushing the liquids through my system and not letting it absorb long enough?  I do wait at least 30 minutes before drinking anything afterwards

I had no problems with liquids, you don't need to wait to have liquids after liquids..
