I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'm 47 years old, 5'2" and I weigh 234...I had my bypass 11/28/14, I did awesome (for me) the first month going from 255 to 239, my doctor wanted 20 gone by next visit on 1/23/14 and I'm only at 234, I didn't lose anything in a week.  I walk 30 minutes on a treadmill 5 days a week, I eat 3 meals with 2 snacks and sometimes I don't even get that in me.  My meals are 90% protein, i don't eat white bread, just whole wheat bagel thins and that's only twice a week (I can only eat 1/2 of it).  I do not graze in between meals, no sugar at all.   I do drink alot of decaf tea with equal, could that be affecting me?  Please any help or suggestions that you have......At this moment, I feel the surgery was a waste of my time and money and I was so happy that first month.

Its very normal to stall at that early stage, as your body is adjusting.  Do a search on "three week stall" on this board and you will see that hundreds and hundreds experience it.  I had RNY Nov 26.  Stalled for about three weeks at 3 weeks, and now the weight loss has ramped up again.  Just hang in there - keep doing what you are doing and the scale will move again. :)

Stalls are completely normal.  Stick to your plan and you'll lose the weight.  Don't worry so much about any time based goals - you'll lose the weight at the speed you'll lose it.
