You're averaging over 10 pounds a month... that seems pretty solid to me!

Did you get a plan from your surgeon?  I'd start with that.

Woah.  I've never heard of a surgeon that doesn't have patients meet with a Nutritionist to learn how to eat post-op.  That's pretty negligent!

Here are my basics that I try to stick to:

1. Prioritize protein and water
2. Deprioritize carbs, especially the refined and processed ones
3. Make the most of healthy fats
4. Eat three meals a day with no snacks
5. Avoid liquid calories (breakfast protein shake is the exception)
6. Weigh portions
7. Eat mindfully and with no distractions aside from real live people
8. Move as much as possible
9. Weigh myself daily
10. Be kind to myself

It sounds like you're in a rut, maybe you just need to change up your routine? Doing the same exercises or eating the same food all the time can get pretty boring. Why not take your exercise routine outdoors?, or try a new class, or do something different like climbing a rock wall or taking a martial arts class. Think of what your goals are, try some new ones or revise some old ones. Hope you get your mojo back!

No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another. T-Rebel
