I never gave either of my boys baby food - they are designed for babies who still get most of their nutrition from breast or formula milk - they are IN NO WAY intended for adults!

Babies don't even like baby food!

I was give the okay at one month out. I try and get my protein in via breakfast, lunch & dinner and I use my snacks for stuff like salads, brussel sprouts, squash, etc. I also try and eat protein packed salads like a cobb or a julienne if I'm making a salad my meal. I was craving a salad & cantalope at three weeks out.

Numi makes savory teas that helped satisfy my need for something green tasting. They are pretty good once you get past the weird experience of smelling broccoli without actually eating it. No nutritional value though. http://shop.numitea.com/Savory-Tea/c/NumiTeaStore@Teabag@Sav ory

If you can't tolerate solids yet, you could always try blending Naked Juice Kale Blazer with unflavored protein powder so you can get more nutritional value out of it. And, if you have to have baby food, I'd recommend Baby Gourmet. You won't even really know you're eating baby food.

Best of luck!
