Broth with shrimp in it - sorry if this is a stupid question!
Hi All,
I have a work lunch tomorrow at a Pho restaurant. I love Pho (Vietnamese soup if you haven't had it - consists of clear broth, rice noodles, and beef or chicken or shrimp, and then you can add lemongrass and jalapeno and bean sprouts). I am going to ask for Pho with shrimp, no noodles (I am seven weeks out from RNY). Normally I don't drink for 30 minutes after eating. So normally if I ate shrimp, I would not drink for 30 minutes after. Well, it's shrimp in soup. At the risk of sounding stupid, should I spoon up some of the broth, then eat the shrimp, and then not eat any more broth?
I really have no idea so I thought someone here may :)
Thanks!
