Are all Bariatric Vitamins Created Equal?

My doctor gave me these orange flavored chewable vitamins that he wants me to start now during the two week pre-op diet.  I can't stomach them.  They are awful! Any suggestions? Do I have to stick with those or are there other options? Thanks!

Get a "Centrum-type"  vitamin.  Walmart has it's own brand called Equate.

Read the label, and it will say "Compare to Centrum", or something like that.  Get a small bottle unless you're getting the Duodenal Switch.  Gastric Sleeves can also still take them.

Post-op, you may have to switch to chewables, if you have the gastric bypass. I think Centrum does have a chewable- I know they have a liquid.

Anyway,  If you're having a DS, you can continue the regular pills once you get the go ahead to start taking them from your surgeon.
