Chia seeds?

i was perusing the vitamin and supplement aisles at Whole Foods earlier and I came across Chia seeds. I heard somewhere that they can aid in weight loss, on top of having lots of fiber and omega 3. Has anyone here taken Chia seeds?

yes very good for you, gives you energy too. They are a bit calorically dense so don't go crazy with them, but if you sprinkle them into your protein shakes or on your salads they are good. Don't taste like much. If you get them wet they get a bit of a gel like coating on them but not gross or anything. Great Omegas and some fiber. Flax seed is better for fiber.

google chia recipes and you will see there is a lot you can do with them.

Thanks for the reply! I just bought a bag of them at Whole Foods and I love adding it to my yogurt and oatmeal in the morning! Gives it a good crunch.
