Make your own broth?
I am pre-op (surgery tomorrow) and have been on clear liquids since the evening of the 25th. I have discovered that store-bought chicken broth is gross! I usually make my own, but thought it would be better to buy it since it would have "controlled" fat/calories, etc.
Does anyone make their own broth or stock to drink? When I make mine, it smells so amazing. I can't imagine it tasting like the store-bought blech! I could do it with chicken breasts to make it lower in fat (rather than the carcass of a bird), but I do skim off as much fat as possible.
I'll ask the nut as well, but thought I'd see what others do.
