I know after surgery (the 31st of May...Woo hoo!), I am going to be focusing the first couple of weeks on liquids.  I am getting a little tired of the premade ones and look forward to making my own as well as adding to different purees and eventually solids.  Which protein powder is the best quality and bang for your buck? I hear the Unjury is great, but I see it is $20.95 for 15 scoops.  Is it one scoop per meal/serving? ANy suggestions would be great!

You will see this alot on these boards. But here is the best advice I can
give you on Protien.

Get as many different brands as you can and in as many different flavors.
Also get small or sample packs. The vitamin shoppe sells alot of single
serve powders. I am sure amazon does also.

You may love a brand now but after surgery your taste will more than likely
change. It may be temporary or not.

Sams Club or Costco have great prices on large containers, but like I said
go small for now.
Do Not Skimp on quality right after surgery. This is when your body needs
good protien without the fluff. So dont get the "cheapest" unless it is good
quality.

These are just my opinions, they mean alot to me but may be just a few
cents to you.

Best of luck to you

I've heard that many GNC's will mix up different shakes for you to sample. It would be a good way to try before you buy. They are way over priced though so I would look up whatever one you like best and order online. I just Ordered low carb Isopure wish me luck..... I like Click but it's not the best protein source.
