I am three weeks post op after sleeve, and i am dying to taste regular food.  so lately when i make dinner, if it is something i am dying for i take a big bite, chew it up carefully and then I spit it all out.
Has anybody done this?  I am wrong for doing this?

Yes it is. It may start a form of eating disorder. On top of that - chewing activates the stomach muscles and acid production. that is also another reason we need to stay away from solid foods- so the stomach - the sleeve - can heal.

I agree, that is a very bad habit n could cause problems, including an eating disorder...I would stop

I ONLY did that on my pre-op diet a few times, never since.

That is nothing but head hunger, your head is craving it, not your stomach. You need to learn to ignore that voice in your head or find a way to cope with it for now. I would not recommend continuing to do that because as stated that could easily turn you down a dark road. Listen to your tummy, not your head when it comes to food.
