I have been looking at the cost of bariatric vitamins and see how expensive they are. Has anyone been able to get there insurance to pay for the vitamins sincethey are medically necessary?

Used to you could get a letter from your doctor to use the before tax medical reimbursement program for vitamins, but that is no longer the case. I haven't heard of any insurance company covering them. Some will cover B-12 shots. It is worth a try to send a letter from your doctor to them and see if they will cover it.

There is a program for people that need help with there vitamins. Have your surgeons offics fill out and fax over. The vitamins are frrand a 90 day supple. I have attached the form your doctors office must fill and fax back.
