So my dietitian told me back home before I moved to have four protein drinks per day, I found one that is low in sugar, high in protein low in carbohydrates and for the price is pure perfection! But the problem is after a year of being off the stupid drink I became soft against the taste of water and mixture... it taste horrid! I hate soy milk with a passion and I hate milk, but with this mixed with milk it taste grate and I am full. I can't quite make it to the 1500 calories she suggested and I can't make it into a new dietitian anytime soon. Any thoughts?

If i understand you correctly, you want to use milk but it is too high in calories? I have not had my surgery yet but am starting to try out different shakes. Last week I discovered Hood Calorie countdown dairy blend. I have not had milk much in the last 5 years because i am diabetic and control it by diet trying to limit carbs to 15-20 per meal and could not justify the 12 carbs in milk.
This has 90 calories, 5g fat, 3g sat fat, 20mg cholesterol, 160mg sodium, 3 carbs, o fiber, 8g protein in the regular and chocolate has 90 calories, 5g fat, 3g sat fat, 15mg cholesterol, 300mg sodium, 5 carbs, 1 fiber, 8g protein. The chocolate it awesome i cant believe i can have chocolate milk again! I made a Jay Robb vanilla whey shake with it and it was wonderful. I just got the regular milk this week and have not used it yet other then just a taste to see if it tasted like milk and from that one taste I could not tell the difference from the milk I drank 5 years ago. I bought it at Krogers store. Another thing I have done with shakes is add Da Vinci sugar free flavored syrups, adding banana to the vanilla Jay Robb vanilla whey shake made with chocolate hood dairy blend was decadent!
200 calories, 5g fat, 3g sat fat, 15mg cholesterol, 450mg sodium, 5 carbs, 1 fiber, 33g protein.
Hope this helps.

I can't drink soy milk by itself YUCK! But for my protein iced coffee everymorning it is great (one scoop vanilla protein, a spoon of instant coffee, a dash of SF caramel torani syrup and 8 oz of light soy milk in blender then over ice).  Milk makes me dump slightly...just enough to make me not want to drnk it very quickly. or often.
