trying to make a good grocery list

I hate shopping, always have, so I'm trying to streamline things. I'm trying to get back on track and need to get some better food choices.

Does anyone have a "go to" grocery list they use, arranged by aisles in the store to make it easy to shop, I tried to make one but it's not exactly what I want.

I'd also love to hear your list of staples or "can't live without" grocery items.

I've got a handful of recipe books, and made food list, I really want to make some good choices.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks!

Garbanzo beans, crushed low sodium tomatoes, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, oatmeal, quinoa, barley and turkey meatballs...The beans are for making hummus....I love hummus :)
Turkey meatballs are very versatile...throw them in soup, vegetables, tomatoes. I don't do spaghetti sauce too much sugar...Add Greek yogurt, shredded, pressed cucumber and garlic, makes a great dip.
