Protein Calculator

Hello all! Just wondering if anyone had a good idea for keeping track of the protein you eat in a day. I am interested in being able to plug in a list of what I ate at a meal and it tell me how much protein was in it and then possibly tally for the day.

So for example let's say I ate 2 eggs, 1 ounce of sausage and 1 ounce of grated cheese.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Brenda

There are a couple of on-line food diary type sites:
fitday.com
sparkpeople.com

and my all time favorite:
http://www.livestrong.com/myplate/

There's a food database already in there or you can enter the totals from your labels if you can't find what you want.  I hope you find it easy to use too.  Good luck,
Cindy

I use myfooddiary.com this is a great website where you put in the food that you consume and it keeps track of all your vitamin intake, carb intake, proteins, iron, and everything else, lets you put in your exercise and it deducts calories and gives you smilie faces if you are doing good in an area, and a sad face when you need to improve in an area, and you could copy cat meals from other days so you dont have to key them in again and then lets you create recipes and it calculates the nutritional information.  It costs $9.00 a month.

My Food Diary is the website.
