Please stop beating yourself up!!! 1170 calories is not horrendous, and it's just one day. You WILL NOT be perfect and you will have tough days...we all do. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and make better choices tomorrow. It's that simple. This journey really is one day at a time this won't be the last time you make poor choices.

Oh, and your emotional stuff...totally normal. Be kind to yourself and just move on!

Courage is not always a lion's roar. Sometimes, it is a small voice at the end of the day saying I will try again tomorrow.

One more thing...I think you're probably not eating enough. Your calories are really low. I know my doc said to aim for 800-1200. Follow your doc's orders but that just seems really low to me and could be one of the reasons that you are feeling the way you are! Just my 2 cents!

My dr says, I do surgery here... and points to the stomach area... not here... and points to the head.  That's your job, he says.  So has anyone here been perfect, never cheated, never tried to go back to their old habits? Probably not.  We wouldn't expect you to either.  Just take one day at a time or one hour at a time.  You are now aware... so take the bull by the horns and make good choices.  It will pay off!  Have some faith in yourself.  Love yourself enough to keep trying.  You can do it!
Just takin' it one day at a time.
