I have been looking over the past several days trying to find a good diet that will work for me. I am going on a cruise at the end of August and would love to loose alittle weight before then. It seems like no matter what I try though, I just keep gaining weight. My biggest problem seems to be my schedule. I work Mon-Friday from 7:30-4:30 and attend class Mon-Thursday from 5:00-10:30. I need a diet that will help me loose weight quickly, but wont leave me hungry or tired. Any ideas of healthy snacks?? Any suggestions would be helpful.. Thank you!

Have you had weight loss surgery? If not and you are looking to lose a little weight, you can start with these suggestions: Aim for 3 meals a day.  Watch your portion size and aim for lean protein and vegetables at meal times.  Try to avoid too many carbohydrates coming from breads, rice, pasta, potatoes, crackers and sugars **** cream, cakes, candies, etc).  Having a little bit of fruit with your meal or as a snack is a good idea.  Other healthy snack ideas might be a reduced fat cheese stick, turkey jerky, fruit, dannon light & fit yogurt, raw veggies.  You might even try doing a protein drink for breakfast...the Nectar protein powder is a good low calorie/low carb/high protein choice.  It would also be helpful to eat out less, try to bring your lunch with you.  Eating out can result in overeating and a higher calorie meal versus preparing foods at home.

I hope this gives you some ideas, good luck!
