Eggs...Good or Bad?

I'm wondering whether eggs are considered a "good" food or a bad food? They're fairly low in calories, have a little protein, a little high in fat but really high in cholesterol. Should I be avoiding eggs or not?

I do egg beaters because they have less fat and still are a pretty good source of protein.

Eggs are high in fat, but definately workable in a diet.  In fact, they are on my surgeon's list of suggested foods!

Tip: Making a meal of something high fat like an egg with something low-fat like a slice of toast makes the % calories from fat for the meal more acceptable.

Awesome protein, awesome vitamins.  When eaten in moderation (no more than 4 per week) can be part of a healthy diet.

Enjoy!
